Essar Foundation’s Sahej makes inroads in Mahan’s (MadhyaPradesh) Nagwa and Karsualal villages. Spearheaded by Essar Power, along with the support of ASHA and Aanganwadi staff, sanitary napkins were provided to over 1000 women. A menstrualhealth sensitisation programme was also conducted.

The Rainbow Project, Essar Foundation’s transgender sensitisation initiative, reached out to the community in Paradeep. Essar Bulk Terminal Ltd, in collaboration with Paradeep Municipality, has been providing kits to the Paradeep Transgender Association since the lockdown. Each kit includes rice, dal (5 kgs each), soap, sanitizer, face mask and detergent.
