GreenLine, India’s leading provider of green logistics solutions, showcased its pioneering initiatives at the International Procurement & Supply Chain Conference 2025. The event was organised by ASSOCHAM and Blue Ocean Corporation under its Futuristic Skills to Fuel Progressinitiative on 7th August 2025 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. It provided an important platform to discuss the future of sustainable supply chains and share insights on driving meaningful change in the sector.
Anand Mimani, CEO, GreenLine Mobility Solutions & Co-Chairperson, ASSOCHAM Logistics and Warehousing Council was part of the inaugural session on Resilient & Reliable Supply Chains: Powering India’s Growth featuring a distinguished line-up of speakers, including Mr. Manish Singhal (Secretary General, ASSOCHAM), Dr. Sathya Menon (Group CEO, Blue Ocean Corporation) and Mr. Sourav Ganguly (Member of the Board, Blue Ocean Corporation & Former President, BCCI) amongst a few others.
Speaking at the session, Anand Mimani, reflected on the urgent need to rethink supply chains in the face of recent disruptions- from the pandemic and trade policy shifts to climate events and geopolitical uncertainties. He emphasised that resilience today means more than enduring shocks; it requires anticipating challenges, adapting quickly, and emerging stronger.
Mr. Mimani shared how GreenLine was founded on this philosophy of building a diversified, digitally integrated, and environmentally sustainable logistics ecosystem. He outlined the company’s commitment to decarbonising long-haul transport by deploying LNG-powered trucks, EVs for short-haul operations, and establishing the supporting infrastructure such as battery swapping stations and LNG fuel pumps across India’s key freight corridors. Highlighting that LNG can reduce carbon emissions by nearly 30% on long-haul routes, he noted how these efforts align closely with the government’s Gati Shakti vision and broader push for cleaner mobility solutions.
He also spoke about GreenLine’s investment in advanced telematics and fleet management systems to bring transparency and accountability to operations. From real-time carbon tracking and digital dashboards to AI-powered driver monitoring, these tools enable safer, more efficient logistics while supporting customers’ sustainability goals. Beyond technology, Mr. Mimani highlighted the importance of people in the supply chain. He detailed GreenLine’s driver engagement programmes, which prioritise welfare, safety, and upskilling, and called for greater collaboration across the industry to embed clean fuel adoption and responsible practices into supply chain strategy. Reaffirming GreenLine’s mission, he invited industry peers to work together to build a logistics sector that delivers economic value while protecting the environment and creating better livelihoods for those at the heart of India’s supply networks.
