He suggested that ‘Distributed Manufacturing’ could be the way forward. Speaking on Essar Ports readiness to tackle the situation, Mr Agarwal talked about the company’s mechanised facilities, that ensure minimal human intervention, safe operations and social distancing in these times. Hailing his colleagues working on ground as ‘heroes’, he emphasised how all terminals of Essar Ports are completely operational and servicing customers despite the challenges faced due to the lockdown restrictions. He stresses on the role of the Government moving forward, and highlighted how they would have to help stabilising businesses and focus on kick-starting the global consumption cycle.
