The Engineering & PMC arm of Essar Projects has once again reinforced its stronghold in Pellet Plant Engineering, with the award of two major orders for detail engineering of Pellet Plants being developed in the iron ore rich belt in eastern parts of India.
In response to the news, Mr. Kirtikumar Patel, Head of Engineering at Essar Projects, stated, “These recent awards further demonstrate continued confidence in our engineering team to deliver safe, on-time and efficient engineering solutions for key Mineral & Metals projects.” Leveraging on best-in-class expertise and experience in Mineral & Metals projects, Essar Projects’ Engineering Division has secured in a short period of time, orders from reputed Indian and International Clients.
The Division has till date undertaken provision of detail engineering services for pellet plants for a combined capacity of around 40 MTPA. Further, phasing out of sinter plants on account of environmental concerns, coupled with non-availability of iron ore in lump form, have led to increase in number of pellet plant projects being planned and Essar Engineering is fully geared to service this growing market.
Time & cost effective deliveries and excellent customer service has enabled the team to win repeat orders from existing clients, and despite the slowdown caused by COVID 19 pandemic, the Engineering Division booked orders worth around USD 4 Million in the first half of FY2020-21 itself.
