Essar Power encourages citizens to vote at Singrauli, MP

Essar Power conducted a voter awareness drive at Nagwa, Suhira and Karsuaraja panchayats with the aim of improving voter turnout for the Lok Sabha elections.

Rallies and pledges were organised in schools, local haats and panchayats urging voters to cast their vote judiciously. About 300 students, accompanied by the teachers of Saraswati Shishu Mandir School, performed a ‘Nukkad Natak‘ encouraging citizens to vote for the right candidate without buckling under any pressure or threat.

The voter awareness campaign was conducted under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP), the flagship programme of the Election Commission of India for voter education, spreading voter awareness and promoting voter literacy in India.
