Essar Bulk Terminal Paradip Limited was nominated across various categories at the Golden Bird Awards ceremony, winning the coveted Diamond award in the CSR category, Platinum award in the Energy Efficiency category and the Gold award in the Safety & Environment category.
Golden Bird is a non-profit organisation which recognises organisations and associations for their outstanding contribution in the field of National Economic and Social Development, and conducts public awareness programs on social issues. Each award category is judged by a panel of jurors comprising of eminent personalities across sectors, industries and academia. The felicitation ceremony was held in Nainital, Uttarakhand on 22 May 2022. The event was attended by honorable Environment and Climate change cabinet minister Mr Arvind Pandey as Chief Guest, Smt Sarita Arya, MLA, Nainital, Sri Balraj Pasi ji Ex MP Nainital and Dr. R.K. Chauhan, Joint Director Department of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Haryana, attended the function as Guest of Honour.
