Ranjan Dhar (CMO, Hazira Asset, Sales & Marketing) received the Most Enterprising CEO award at Make In India Excellence Awards 2016 in New Delhi. Mr Dhar was recognised for “Product Innovation in Steel Sector”.
The event was organised by Indo Global Business Council (IGBC), which is an international forum that is based in New Delhi and has several country chapters. IGBC’s vision is to serve as the apex chamber in India, representing the interests of Indian entrepreneurs, NRI businessmen and the corporate sector in India and abroad.
The award is yet another affirmation of the innovation culture at Essar Steel, which has made the company a pioneer in indigenously developed value-added steel. In the last three months alone, it has develop three steel grades that have helped its customers substitute expensive imported steel with Made in India Essar Steel products.
