Essar believes in active interaction with prestigious educational institutions to not just build its brand as a recruiter, but also to foster industry-academic collaborations. Such leadership interactions aim to secure and sustain the availability of a talented resource pool for the sector and encourages students to become future professionals of the industry. It also allows us to keep academic institutions in tune with the latest in the industry, helping them to craft curriculums accordingly.
Earlier this year, as part of our initiatives to collaborate with academic institutions, Essar had also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the prestigious IIT (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, to jointly work on research and development of various advanced CBM technological innovations indigenously. With such partnerships and involvement at grassroots, Essar hopes to contribute to sustained talent inflow into the core economy sectors.
