Essar Vizag Terminals Ltd (EVTL), part of Essar Ports, has achieved yet another milestone by handing a record quantity of dry bulk cargo capsize vessel at the terminal. This is for the very first time that a fully laden cape vessel has been loaded at the terminal.
The vessel MV Aqua Diva was berthed successfully and loaded of 1,53,000 metric tonnes of iron ore fines by the terminal operations team for client M/s Euro Pratik Ispat India Private Ltd, while the agent was M/s Bothra Shipping Services Private Ltd.
EVTL was able to achieve this fantastic feat thanks to excellent team work, a deep draft, efficiently managed receiving and shipping systems. In fact, this is just another feather in EVTL’s cap as the company has executed such tough challenges in the past, and achieved similar milestones which redefine the entire operational standards at the terminal.
EVTL operates a 24 million tonnes bulk cargo handling terminal which is India’s largest integrated iron ore handling complex located on the outer harbour of Visakhapatnam Port.
