This year’s August 15th, India completes 75 glorious years of Independence, and Essarites celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with great enthusiasm and grandeur. We joined the Nation’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting India’s flag at the ‘Ghar’ of all Essarites, the Essar House! Shri Prashant Ruia, Director – Essar joined the Ruia Family to hoist the Indian flag. In his speech, he reminded all Essarites that we all have a pledge to make, and a promise to keep, to ensure that we continue playing a key role in Nation-building for the next 75 years too. He asked Essarites to take the resolve of creating sustainability-based businesses and building future-centric assets that will generate value not just for the nation, but also for the world!
Celebrating the Nation’s diamond jubilee, Essar’s Mumbai corporate office was not only decorated in the Tiranga theme, but was also lit in the Tricolour. Various events were organised across all floors, where Essarites showcased their patriotism through their talents in singing & dancing.
