Essar Steel Pune Facility (ESPF) won the Gold Award at the recently held 15th Annual Greentech Safety Awards 2016 function in Goa on 29 & 30 August.
The award was given by Mr RK Dubey, Chief Advisor to Greentech Foundation, and recognised the company for implementing the best safety practices in a large-scale service sector organisation.
The ESPF team adopts various safety measures at the plant, like monthly safety campaign, safety observation tour by line manager, emergency preparedness in the workplace, improvement of workplace safety through risk assessment, job safety analysis, fire safety measures, drills, and so on.
