- The latest globally recognized international OH&S standard ISO 45001:2018.

The Salaya Port Terminal, the first deep-draft terminal in the Saurashtra region, has been designed to berth up to Capesize vessels with a vessel turnaround time benchmarked with the world’s best, thus offering a competitive advantage to the local industry of the region.
It is an all-weather terminal and is already one of the most preferred destination for shipment of dry bulk cargo in the Saurashtra region. It is capable of handling commodities like coal, bauxite, limestone, fertilizer, etc. and has the flexibility to both import and export cargo. Its mechanised stockyard is 50 km from Jamnagar and is well connected with the Jamnagar-Okha State Highway.
Essar Ports specializes in development and operations of ports and terminals for handling dry bulk, break bulk, liquid and general cargo. It is one of the largest private sector port developer and operator in India in terms of capacity and throughput. It has four operational terminals in India—one each in Hazira and Salaya (both in Gujarat) on the west coast, and in Visakhapatnam and Paradip on the east coast.
