The lockdown imposed due to Covid-19 ensured that most Essarites worked from home. But the constraints of lockdown could lead to a negative outlook and also lead to stress. We realised that continuous learning and development can be a great stress buster at such times, and can also foster positive engagement and motivation among employees.
With that objective, Essar launched ‘Learning TV’ – a platform for all Essarites and their family to engage in live online sessions on art, cuisine, mental well-being, fitness and much more. Behavioural sessions like ‘Assertive Communication’, and ‘Innovative Operational Execution’ are also part of the offering, with its key focus on enabling Essarites upskill professionally. The technology-enabled sessions are conducted by empanelled experts and are live streamed in the morning or evening every day, so that all Essarites can access it from their homes through their laptops or mobile devices.
With heightened need to remotely connect with employees in engaging ways, Essar Learning TV is ensuring that Essarites not just work from home, but also learn from home.
