Healthy competition with the intention of strengthening the teaching-learning experience in the Government Primary schools is encouraged to promote intellectual stimulation.
An inter-school quiz competition was recently conducted by Essar Foundation covering eight Government Primary schools across the Hazira belt. The initiative also helped the students prepare for their internal term exams, generated a curiosity among the students to prepare for the quiz and enriched their knowledge level by encouraging learning beyond their textbooks.
Primary School, Mora emerged as the winner in 6th standard category and the host school, Primary School, Hazira emerged as winner in 7th and 8th standard category. Other winners in 2nd and 3rd position were Primary School, Suvali, Bhatlai, Vanswa and Junagam. Sarpanch of Hazira Gram Panchayat, Mrs. Bhatnagar, Mrs. Hema from Rachna Ladies Club gave away the trophies to the winning teams are the guest. The initiative was facilitated under E Gurujee project by our technical support partner CEE.
