Celebrating curiosity and liveliness, this Universal Children’s Day

Dabuna:

The curiosity of a child’s mind knows no bounds. With the right guidance and encouragement, children can keep learning and performing to their fullest.

An exuberant batch of students from Indira Smruty Bidyapith School and Dabuna Primary School, displayed their creativity with a hands-on science exhibition.

Essar Foundation team helped to bring together the exhibition as an opportunity such as this is not common in the schools of this remote part of Keonjhar.

Models, exhibits and demonstrations on myriad themes like smart village, making a ship, terrace gardens, benefits of medicinal plants, preventing malaria & dengue, natural ways to preserve fruits & vegetables, and clay crafts showcased by over 145 students gave the visitors an elaborate view of their creativity.

Dantewada:

Children’s Day celebrations are incomplete without the kids getting a chance to play to their heart’s content!

The day was celebrated with a range of activities, games and contests involving children of Primary, Middle and High Schools of Cholnar.

The most popular of them being the minute-to-win-it games like Drop the glass, Marble race, Stick bindis, spoon race, blow the balloon and stick the notes etc.

Over 80 students participated and won prizes in these events. Senior officials from Essar participated to encourage the children.
