Power
Essar Power has five power plants with a combined
capacity of 1,200 MW. This includes two gas-based
plants, of 500 MW and 515 MW capacities, and
one liquid fuel based 32 MW plant in Hazira,
a 120 MW co-generation plant in Vadinar and
a 25 MW coal-based plant in Visakhapatnam.
Work has started on three new plants that
will take total capacity up to 6,000 MW.
