Essar Energy has signed a power purchase agreement with Noida Power Company for 240 megawatts (MW) of contracted capacity from Essar Energy’s 600MW coal-fired Tori II power station which is under construction in Jharkhand, India. Mr KVB Reddy, Director, Essar Power, discusses the status of the project's two phases and and the expected contribution of the Tori power project to the company once completed.
