Essar Steel's Hazira plant ramped up production to 10 million tonnes, becoming the country’s largest single-location flat steel producer in the country, and the fourth largest globally. It is one of the lowest cost mine-to-market steel producers in the world. Mr Ruia explains to NDTV’s Nikhil Inamdar that, depending on market prices, he expects Rs35,000-40,000 crore revenue once the plant reaches full production capacity in two years.
