The company is one step closer to achieving its zero-emission goal with the succcessful installation and commissioning of the 19 MW plant that will utilize the heat content of surplus steam and gases generated as a part of the steel manufacturing process. Mr Premal Shah, Head – Environment, Essar Steel, discusses how the plant will function and benefit the facility. Mr Amit Agarwal, CFO, Essar Steel, talks about the economic benefits that will accrue from the plant.
