Estimated reserves

The blocks have certified in-place reserves of 500 million barrels.

Location & field data

The block is located 90 km south-west of Mumbai in the petroliferous regions of Bombay High, Bassein, Heera and Neelam fields; with 45-50 metre water depth and aerial extent of about 1,000 sq. km.

Ownership

Essar has 50% ownership, with ONGC (40%) & Premier Oil (10%) accounting for the rest.

Current status

Awaiting execution of Production Sharing Contract (PSC).
