Essar Global is pleased to announce the appointment of Alain Davezac as Executive Vice President - Strategic Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions. The portfolio recognizes the increasing range of responsibilities with the steel business of Essar Global Limited.

Alain holds a master's degree in Political Science and Information & Communication Sciences as well as a degree in Literature. He has also attended an International Executive Education Program at INSEAD.

Alain has over of 32 years experience in the steel industry and has been involved in the process of international business development, networks (business and public affairs) and intercultural negotiations.
