The awards are given in key infrastructure categories including highways and flyovers, railways, airports, ports, energy and power, oil and gas, telecom, and urban infrastructure.

There are also special awards in the categories of Infrastructure Leader of the Year, Infrastructure Company of the Year, Pre-Engineered Building Project of the Year, Design Project of the Year, Innovative Infrastructure Company of the Year, Emerging Infrastructure Company of the Year and Essar Steel Award for Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Infrastructure Development.

This year’s award initiative received 118 project nominations from more than 50 major companies which were evaluated by the expert jury before finalizing the winners.
