Essar Wildcat, the semi-submersible drilling rig owned and operated by Essar Oilfield Services (EOSL), completed three years with no lost time incidents (LTI) on November 25, 2011.
This achievement endorses the fact that the best HSE practices have been embedded into the work culture on the rig.
EOSL believes in continual enhancement of performance through persistent improvement in current management system, and regular on-board training to rig crew by using in-house training programmes, such as the Essar Rig Operation Management System (EROMS), developed in line with the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Rig Pass training programme. EROMS is based on the ISO model and is under constant review with an eye to improvement.
