Essar Projects (EPIL), Paradip, Odisha, received a Special Commendation in the Steel
Plant Construction Project category, for the state-level Kalinga Safety Award
2011.The awards were presented by the Governor of Odisha Mr. MC Bhandare during the Odisha State Safety Conclave 2012. The event was held on September 14, 2012 in the state capital of Bhubaneswar.
The Essar team comprising of Mr. Namala Subbarao, Project Director – EPIL, Paradip, Mr. Subrat Mandal, EPIL, and Mr. Kiran Panda, Essar Steel, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
