Essar Projects' (EPIL) Minerals & Metals SBU, commenced work on a new project for client Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-op (IFFCO).
EPIL recently bagged the contract from IFFCO, for the supply, construction, fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning, and guarantee of 2 x 20,000 MT diammonium phosphate (DAP) / nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (NPK) product storage silos. The contract is being executed by the EPIL Minerals & Metals team at IFFCO’s plant in Paradip, Odisha.
After the issue of the work order, on April 12, 2012, a ‘puja’ and inauguration ceremony was carried out at the site on April 19, in the presence of senior officials from IFFCO and Essar Projects.
